For our latest mission, we picked a random couple getting married at the City Clerk’s Office in Manhattan and threw them a surprise wedding reception. The couple was treated to dancing, toasts, cake, and gifts, all with complete strangers.

I missed my cousin’s baby shower but I would still like to get her a gift. She’s young and could probably use all the help she can get. However, my money is tight right now. Should I:
A. Ask her mom what she still needs and get it when i can afford it?
B. Send her a card and a gift card?
C. Offer to take some pictures (since I’m a photographer) for free?

If money is tight, I would get baby clothes for her. Get some for several ages up to one year. And they don’t have to be fancy. The packages of Gerber gowns or plain onesies are perfect.

You can also find out what brand of diapers she uses and get her a large package of them.

New parents never seem to have enough baby clothes or diapers!
